The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has just launched a criminal investigation into radical “Squad” Democrat Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO).
Bush, one of the leaders of the Marxist “defund the police” and “abolish prisons” movements, was caught spending taxpayer money on her own private security.
According to Punchbowl News, the DOJ has subpoenaed the House Sergeant at Arms for records relating to the misspending of federal security money.
Last year, Slay News reported that Bush and her fellow members of the so-called “Squad” of anti-police Democrats spent tens of thousands of dollars in campaign funds on private security.
However, it has now emerged that Bush also spent taxpayer funds on private security for herself between Jan. 1 to March 31.
The illegal spending was confirmed in the Statement of Disbursements of the House records.
A GOP source just sent me this based on my story from last night on Rep. Cori Bush and the squad paying for private security despite calls to defund the police.

In December 2020, Bush sent out a tweet criticizing former President Barack Obama for not calling to defund the police.
“With all due respect, Mr. President — let’s talk about losing people,” Bush said in the tweet.
“We lost Michael Brown Jr. We lost Breonna Taylor.
“We’re losing our loved ones to police violence.
“It’s not a slogan,” Bush insisted.
“It’s a mandate for keeping our people alive.
“Defund the police.”
