Donald Trump Indicted in New York

President Donald Trump has been indicted by a New York City grand jury on charges of falsifying business records stemming from payments to Stormy Daniels, according to multiple media outlets.

A source told The Independent, ABC, The Wall Street Journal, and others that grand jurors voted to indict Trump on Thursday and that indictment is currently under seal.

It will be unveiled at some point in the near future by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Trump said earlier: “Prosecutorial misconduct is their new tool, and they’re willing to use it at levels never seen before in our country.

“We’ve had it, but we’ve never had it like  this.”

According to The Wall Street Journal:

“A Manhattan grand jury has voted to indict Donald Trump for his role in paying hush-money to a porn star on the eve of the 2016 election, kicking off a process in which the former president will likely be required to come to New York to face the charges, according to people familiar with the matter.

“The grand jury returned the indictment of Mr. Trump after a vote on Thursday, the people said, marking the first time a former president has faced criminal charges.

“The indictment, sought by the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, isn’t public.”

According to ABC:

“ABC News has learned that former president Donald Trump has been indicted, according to multiple sources with knowledge.”
