Elon Musk has suggested that he’s open to calls for banning the radical leftist Anti-Defamation League (ADL) from Twitter/X.
Jonathan Greenblatt and the ADL have relentlessly pushed for suppression of free speech while claiming to fight “hate” and “disinformation.”
However, the leftist organization exclusively targets right-wing voices and even occasionally some self-described centrists who just aren’t “woke” enough.
The organization claims to be against “misinformation,” racism, and “hate speech.”
However, many have noticed that the ADL believes it’s not possible for there to be racism against white people.
The ADL has also pushed anti-Christian tropes, implying that saying hail Christ is antisemitic somehow, with many people shockingly noticing.
This makes the group appear disingenuous to many as the ADL only targets “racism” that challenges its own far-left views.
Greenblatt once posted a veiled threat to Twitter about potentially using his influence to somehow make Elon Musk’s platform, now called X, to “go away.”
Recently, Greenblatt implied a renewed push for censorship on Twitter/X by speaking with Musk’s newly appointed CEO Linda Yaccarino.
I had a very frank + productive conversation with @LindayaX yesterday about @X, what works and what doesn't, and where it needs to go to address hate effectively on the platform. I appreciated her reaching out and I'm hopeful the service will improve. @ADL will be vigilant and…

Many have expressed fear that censorship on X could return.
A couple of days ago, #BantheADL went viral, providing acknowledgment that many are fed up with the organization anti-freedom efforts.
The organization rebuked the viral movement in a statement, however.
Elon Musk himself has said that the ADL has tried to hurt X.
Musk shared a post from Dutch political commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek who said people are “done” with people told what they can and can’t say.
She noted that the ADL uses its bully pulpit to trash and threaten everything that isn’t “woke.”
Musk responded by suggesting he should run one of his famous polls in regards to potentially banning the ADL from X/Twitter.
Perhaps we should run a poll on this? https://t.co/Lr2xu0iGzI
