Elon Musk Calls Out Hillary Clinton for ‘Using Campaign Funds’ to Create ‘Elaborate Hoax about Trump’

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has slammed twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for “using campaign funds” to create an “elaborate hoax about Trump and Russia.”

Musk was responding after her former 2016 campaign manager Robby Mook testified under oath on Friday that Hillary Clinton approved the fabricated information linking Trump to Russia to be pushed to the media.

Mook was testifying during the trial of Clinton’s former campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann.

Sussmann is on trial for lying to the FBI on charges linked to Special Counsel John Durham’s investigations.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said on Twitter: “Christopher Steele created the dossier.

“Glenn Simpson sold it to the press.

“Michael Sussman took it to the FBI.

“And Democrats and the media lied to you about it all.”

“All true,” Musk replied to Jordan’s comments on Twitter.

“Bet most people still don’t know that a Clinton campaign lawyer, using campaign funds, created an elaborate hoax about Trump and Russia.”

He added, “Makes you wonder what else is fake.”

“Clinton lawyer lied to manipulate FBI over Trump.”

Mook testified that Hillary was consulted before they pushed the fake story in the press.

Accoridng to Mook, Hillary approved the move even though the campaign doubted that the information was accurate.

“I discussed it with Hillary as well,” said Mook.

“I don’t remember the substance of the conversation, but notionally, the discussion was, hey, we have this and we want to share it with a reporter.”

When asked how Clinton responded, Mook said: “She agreed to that.”

“A reporter could vet the information and then decide to print it,” he said.

From Fox News:

Sussmann has been charged with making a false statement to the FBI when he told Baker in September 2016, less than two months before the presidential election, that he was not doing work “for any client” when he requested and attended a meeting in which he presented “purported data and ‘white papers’ that allegedly demonstrated a covert communicates channel” between the Trump Organization and Alfa Bank, which has ties to the Kremlin.

Durham’s team alleges Sussmann was, in fact, doing work for two clients: the Hillary Clinton campaign and a technology executive, Rodney Joffe.

Following the meeting with Baker, Sussmann billed the Hillary Clinton campaign for his work.

Sussmann has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Mook, earlier in questioning from the defense, was asked whether he or anyone on the Clinton campaign approved or gave Sussmann permission to bring the allegations to the FBI, to which he said: “No.”
