Elon Musk Fires Back at Media Hit Piece Claim He Had Affair with Google Founder’s Wife: ‘Total BS’

Elon Musk has fired back after a hit piece about him in the Wall Street Journal claims he slept with his friend’s ex-wife and broke up their marriage.

The Journal ran a story claiming Musk had an affair with Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s ex-wife Nicole Shanahan.

The report claims the alleged affair ruined the friendship between the two tech visionaries.

However, Musk slammed the story as “total BS” and sent a picture to the New York Post showing he and Brin at a party together last night.

“WSJ should be running stories that actually matter to their readers and have solid factual basis, not third-party random hearsay,” Musk said.

“Nicole and Sergey’s divorce has absolutely nothing to do with me.

“I am sure both Nicole and Sergey would confirm that.

“I spoke with both Sergey and Nicole about this and they say the story isn’t coming from them, so it must be a case of broken telephone, two or three layers removed.

“And, not to dodge the question, I have only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around.

“We were not romantically involved in any way.

“This is total bs,” Musk asserted.

“Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night!

“I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.”

A Twitter user said:

“Phew glad to hear that. keep your d*ck in your pants they’re out for your head.”

Musk responded:

“Haven’t even had sex in ages (sigh).”

Musk continued:

“WSJ is supposed to have a high standard for journalism and, right now, they are way sub tabloid.

“Yeah, the character assassination attacks have reached a new level this year, but the articles are all nothing-burgers.

“I work crazy hours, so there just isn’t much time for shenanigans.

“None of the key people involved in these alleged wrongdoings were even interviewed,” he said.
