Twitter CEO Elon Musk has put CNN on notice over potential plans to label the network as “state-affiliated media” on his social media platform to “inform the public.”
Musk was responding to the bombshell report that CNN’s former boss Jeff Zucker told staff not to probe the “lab leak” theory because it was a “Trump talking point.”
An irate Twitter user asked Musk:
“CNN told their staff to not share COVID-19 ‘lab leak’ theory due to it being a ‘Trump talking point.’
“Hey @elonmusk: When are you going to label CNN as State Affiliated Media?”
Musk responded with a warning for the failing network.
“Good point,” Musk replied.
“If an organization portrays itself as balanced, but is not, it should be labeled to inform the public.”
Good point. If an organization portrays itself as balanced, but is not, it should be labeled to inform the public.

A different Twitter user said about the man running out of places to hide, Dr. Anthony Fauci:
“Now that it is clear to everyone with eyes to see that Fauci organized a cover-up to squash the lab leak hypothesis, here’s a reminder that he tried to fool the public on the science of lockdown and covid mitigation too.”
“Exactly,” Musk said.
“Fauci egregiously betrayed the public trust.”
Exactly. Fauci egregiously betrayed the public trust.

According to Fox News:
But in the early months of the pandemic, then-CNN president Jeff Zucker would not allow his network to chase down the lab-leak story because he believed it was a “Trump talking point,” according to a well-placed CNN insider.
“People are slowly waking up from the fog,” the insider told Fox News Digital. “It is kind of crazy that we didn’t chase it harder.”
Throughout Zucker’s tenure as CNN’s chief, he pulled what was once widely seen as a straight-news organization to an anti-Trump operation.
CNN bent over backwards to knock down what former President Trump and members of his administration said lending credibility to the lab-leak theory, as the White House was deemed a nemesis by the network.
