Elon Musk Releases ‘Twitter Files Part Two: Twitter’s Secret Blacklists’

Elon Musk has just released “The Twitter Files Part Two” to expose the social media platform’s “secret blacklists.”

This release follows on from the first explosive release which exposed Twitter’s censorship of information that was damaging to President Joe Biden and the Democrats.

For “Part Two” of “The Twitter Files,” independent journalist Bari Weiss was given access to Twitter’s internal files by the company’s new boss Elon Musk.

The latest release of the Twitter suppression files lifts a lid on the tactics used by Twitter to suppress conservatives on the platform.

Weiss detailed the findings in a long Twitter thread.

She wrote: “THREAD: THE TWITTER FILES PART TWO. TWITTER’S SECRET BLACKLISTS.

“A new #TwitterFiles investigation reveals that teams of Twitter employees build blacklists, prevent disfavored tweets from trending, and actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics—all in secret, without informing users.

“Twitter once had a mission ‘to give everyone the power to create and share ideas and information instantly, without barriers.’

“Along the way, barriers nevertheless were erected.

“Take, for example, Stanford’s Dr. Jay Bhattacharya (@DrJBhattacharya) who argued that Covid lockdowns would harm children.

“Twitter secretly placed him on a ‘Trends Blacklist,’ which prevented his tweets from trending.

“Or consider the popular right-wing talk show host, Dan Bongino, who at one point was slapped with a ‘Search Blacklist.’

“Twitter set the account of conservative activist Charlie Kirk to ‘Do Not Amplify.'”
