X boss Elon Musk has fired back at Robert De Niro after the liberal Hollywood star compared President Donald Trump to Hitler.
As Slay News reported, De Niro unloaded during a new interview on MSNBC.
Going completely unchecked by the host on Thursday’s “The 11th Hour,” the actor claimed that Trump’s rise was like that of Adolf Hitler’s in 1930s Germany.
“He is sick, he is genuinely a sick person that somehow has been allowed into our system,” De Niro said.
“I’m not calling him names, he just can’t be anywhere near the office of the presidency.”
He continued, “I don’t understand it.
“I don’t I don’t think they understand how dangerous it will be if he ever, God forbid, becomes president.
“I don’t think they really understand.
“And historically, from what I see, even in Nazi Germany, they had it with Hitler.
“They don’t take him seriously.
“He looks like a clown. Acts like a clown.
“Mussolini. Same thing,” De Niro claimed.
“These guys, I don’t know why they look like clowns.
De Niro added, “The guy is a monster. It’s beyond wrong.
The actor concluded, “We always hear about people from Eastern Europe, the Jews from other parts of Eastern Europe, from Western Europe coming over.
“Look what happened with France, and with the Nazis and so on.
“And they come over and you hear these, and they go, and when I was a kid, they’d say, ‘You don’t really appreciate this country, you know, what we know from experience.’
“Imagine what those people went through. I’m just starting to see it.
“You know, as a kid, I said ‘Hitler, it’s a nightmare that never would happen.’
“But now I see that it’s possible.”

A clip of De Niro’s Trump Derangement Syndrome-fueled rant went viral in a post on X, catching the attention of Elon Musk.
Musk stated that Trump’s policies “bore no resemblance” to those of both dictators.
He also declared that the actor’s latest anti-Trump tirade “makes no sense.”
Once the clip hit X, Musk replied:
“Well, Trump was actually already president for 4 years and his policies bore no resemblance to those of Hitler, so this makes no sense.”
He also pointed out an example of Trump’s policies that the twentieth-century dictators wouldn’t have pursued, stating:
“In fact, with the Abraham Accords, he made some progress towards peace in the Middle East, which was definitely not high on Hitler’s agenda.”

De Niro’s anti-Trump rhetoric has been a staple of his public persona in recent years.
The actor, who played the villain in Martin Scorsese’s 2023 crime drama “Killer of The Flower Moon,” compared Trump to his character at the Cannes Film Festival last year.
De Niro said they both have a “feeling of entitlement” that drives their evil actions.
“It’s the banality of evil, and we see it now with — I’m not going to say the name because that guy is stupid,” he said.
“It’s like with Trump — I had to say it,” he later added.
“There are people who think he could do a good job.
“Imagine how insane that is.”
One of De Niro’s most famous anti-Trump outbursts happened on stage during the 2018 Tony Awards.
During the event, he clenched his fists and told the audience:
“I’m gonna say one thing: F**k Trump!
“It’s no longer down with Trump, it’s f**k Trump!”
