Twitter CEO Elon Musk is demanding to know who is pulling retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman’s strings.
The questions from Musk emerged after he noticed that a coordinated spambot attack against him appears to be linked to Vindman.
Musk raised concerns on Twitter and described Vindman as the “puppet and puppeteer.”
Vindman said on Twitter: “Kinda weird that @elonmusk gets to decide how like a half-billion people communicate.
“Way too much power for one erratic individual to wield, don’t you think?”

However, Twitter users quickly noticed something odd regarding Vindman’s post.
Several other Twitter accounts had posted the exact same message as Vindman.
Musk was alerted about the issue and stepped in to warn Vindman and the spamming accounts they were possibly violating Twitter’s terms of service.
“They’re bots in human form,” Musk tweeted.
“Note, spamming, whether done by a set of humans or bots is against ToS,” he added.

He then demanded to know who is behind the stunt.
“Vindman is both puppet & puppeteer,” Musk said.
“Question is who pulls his strings … ?

A Twitter user said:
“And they’re all echoing Alexander Vindman.”
Musk said:
“Like digital ventriloquist dolls.”
Another Twitter user said:
“Hating on elon musk full time seems like a really pathetic hobby.”
Musk responded with the sad truth behind the attacks:
“They won’t give up controlling the narrative easily.”
