Elon Musk’s Mom Maye Humiliates NYT over Hit Piece on Son: ‘Are You Going to Blame Children for Decisions Made by Governments?’

Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, has humiliated the New York Times after the left-wing newspaper ran a flawed hit piece on her son.

The Times, in a bit of journalistic jiu-jitsu, tried to portray Twitter’s new anti-woke owner Musk as a “racist.”

However, the attack backfired as the reporter disproves their own claim in the article.

The Times promoted their hit piece on social media with this: “Elon Musk grew up in elite white communities in South Africa, detached from apartheid’s atrocities and surrounded by anti-Black propaganda.

“He sees his takeover of Twitter as a free speech win but in his youth did not suffer the effects of misinformation.”

Reporter Saagar Enjeti called out the hit piece by pointing out that the article refutes its own premise.

Enjeti said:

In this article NYT itself reports Elon Musk:

  1. Had non-white friends growing up in apartheid SA
  2. His own father was an ANTI-APARTHEID politician
  3. He literally left so he didn’t have to serve in apartheid military

They still insinuate he is a racist

Leighton Woodhouse said: “What’s in the actual article:

“Musk’s dad was an elected official from an anti-apartheid party.

“Musk’s school had an anti-apartheid curriculum.

“Musk had black friends and was bullied for standing up to racist kids.

“Musk left home to avoid fighting for an apartheid regime.”

“In South Africa, if you publicly opposed apartheid, you went to jail. In Russia, if you publicly oppose the war, you go to jail.

“@nytimes are you going to blame children for decisions made by governments? #StopTheWar.”

Glenn Greenwald said:

“This is the kind of punishment the corporate media doles out to anyone whom they perceive as their enemy and, especially, who opposes the censorship regime on which they rely.

“Reporting on Musk is obviously valid: necessary.

“This isn’t reporting. It’s deceit and punishment.

“This, by the way, is how the online censorship regime was imposed:

“Dems use their majority power in DC to threaten tech CEOs with reprisals if they don’t censor, while their corporate media allies smear anyone who refuses to censor by claiming they have blood on their hands, etc.

“This is why not only skepticism about Musk’s motives to carry through is warranted, but so too is skepticism about his ability.

“The power to censor the internet is one of the most potent weapons US power centers wield.

“The backlash against anyone who threatens it will be severe.

“The NYT set out to write a hit piece on Musk to tie his support for free speech now to his support for apartheid South Africa, discovered that all the relevant facts negate that narrative, but proceeded to frame the article that way anyway: ‘journalism.'”
