Fauci to Be Honored with ‘Ethics’ Award

Former top U.S. federal health official Dr. Anthony Fauci is to be honored with a prestigious award for “ethics.”

Fauci, Democrat President Joe Biden’s former chief medical advisor, will be honored with the 2024 Inamori Ethics Prize by the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence at Case Western Reserve University.

In announcing the award, Case Western Reserve President Eric W. Kaler lauded Fauci.

“Dr. Fauci has cared not only for the nation’s health but also the health of the world,” Kaler said.

“His leadership through one of the most challenging times in history—the COVID-19 pandemic—serves as a model for us all.”

During the pandemic, Fauci became a divisive figure who had more than a few controversial moments.

In public statements, Fauci frequently contradicted his previous health advice regarding respiratory viruses.

He also admitted that lockdowns are a tool of coercion to get people vaccinated, as Slay News reported.

Fauci also claimed that experimental Covid mRNA shots would be effective in preventing transmission but they were never tested for such and proved ineffective.

For most decent-minded Americans, “ethics” is not the first thing that springs to mind when they think of Fauci.

Moreover, emails obtained by House Republicans show that Fauci “prompted” the study that was used to disprove the Covid lab leak theory.

Republicans argue that Fauci tried to cover up the theory because he helped to fund dangerous gain-of-function research in Wuhan.

The so-called study that Fauci commissioned earlier in 2020 was intended to disprove the lab leak theory rather than investigate it.

“The authors of this paper skewed available evidence to achieve that goal …” House Oversight subcommittee members said in a memo.

Last year, Fauci announced he was stepping down from Chief Medical Advisor to the President.

Fauci also resigned from his role as director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) after holding the latter position for nearly four decades and seven presidencies.

Conveniently, Fauci announced his resignation shortly before the 2022 elections after it became clear Republicans would win back the House and launch investigations into his conduct.

He left office at the end of last year, just days before the GOP took the House majority.

Earlier this year, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Fauci should be arrested and thrown in jail for lying to Congress under oath.

Cruz said Fauci led policies that destroyed lives and businesses and “he lied repeatedly, over and over and over again.”
