A Democrat congressman has confirmed that he would support Joe Biden’s impeachment if the president “knew about or participated in” his son Hunter’s shady foreign business dealings.
During an interview with MSNBC, Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) admitted that Hunter Biden broke the law.
Himes then suggested he is open to impeaching Biden if the evidence proves that the president played a role in Hunter’s business deals.
The congressman tried to take the high road by slamming the Republicans for never condemning Trump or his family before issuing the warning to Biden.
However, Himes painted himself into a corner because Biden keeps changing his story about Hunter’s business dealings and what he knew of them, so when the GOP moves to impeach, Himes will be in a tight spot.
Himes said: “Let me say something that you never heard a Republican member of Congress say in the four years of the Trump administration, which is that if Hunter Biden broke the law, he should be prosecuted.
“And it is clear that he broke the law with respect to taxes and possibly the ownership of a handgun.
“He should be held accountable for that.”
“If he traded on his father’s influence, he should be held accountable for that.
“And I’m emphasizing this because you never, ever heard a Republican say the same thing about Donald Trump or his family.
“Now, to the question about impeachment, there is today zero evidence, zero evidence that Joe Biden, the president of the United States, knew about what his son was doing.
“If he did know about it, if he participated in that, then that is a very different conversation.”

Himes’ tough talk may come back to haunt him because Biden’s story is changing:
In August 2019, Biden said” “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother … anything having to do with their businesses.”
In September 2019, Biden changed his language slighting to claim: “I have never spoken to Hunter about his overseas business dealings.”
In 2022, Biden’s then White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is asked: “Does the President stand by that claim?”
Psaki replied simply with: “Yes.”
In June this year, Biden is asked: “Did you lie about never speaking to Hunter about his business dealings?”
Biden answered with an angry: “No”
This month, current White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre changed the story again, saying: “The president was never in business with his son.”
Of course, the allegations have never suggested that Joe Biden was officially “in business” with his family.
The evidence suggests that Biden was secretly, and illegally, selling influence to the White House while in office.
