A popular social media influencer has tragically died suddenly after suffering an unexpected cardiac arrest at just 35 years old.
Brazil-born newlywed Mila De Jesus lived in Boston with her husband and leaves behind four children.
She shot to fame as a fitness influencer on Instagram while undergoing a major weight loss transformation.
Jam Press reported that De Jesus passed away suddenly Friday, just four months after marrying her husband, George Kowszik.
De Jesus started documenting her transformation on YouTube and social media six years ago.
The Bahia-born content creator garnered almost 60,000 followers on Instagram and 100,000 subscribers on YouTube as fans followed her journey
She commemorated her weight loss in a November Instagram post juxtaposing photos of herself before and after.
“Six years since a decision that changed my life in various aspects,” De Jesus captioned the composite.
“On one side, the 22-year-old Mila, and on the other, the 35-year-old Mila.”
The influencer’s followers, friends, and family members were devastated over her loss.
“Root follower here, since the beginning of YouTube,” wrote one fan.
“So sad, my God a lot of light, Mila. Rest in peace.”
Another wrote, “All my most sincere condolences.”
Businesswoman Eduarda Gaia, a long-time friend of the influencer, mourned De Jesus’s death.
“I will remember our last conversation on the phone forever!” she said in a statement, per local media.
“I love you so much, friend.”
One of her children, Pedro Marçal, also paid tribute to his late mother.
“Rest, mom,” Pedro wrote in a heartbreaking social media post.
“I love you so much and no one will ever love me like you. God bless you.”
No other details were made public regarding the cause of De Jesus’s sudden cardiac arrest.
However, many have been taking to social media to suggest Covid mRNA injections may have played a role.
According to posts on X, De Jesus was reportedly “fully vaccinated.”
