Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt has called for Congress to investigate the violent Black Lives Matter riots and looting that destroyed communities across the country in 2020.
Earhardt noted that Congress is spending millions of tax dollars “investigating” the Jan. 6, 2021 riot and the U.S. Capitol while BLM rioters are getting a free pass.
“There’s never an excuse for a riot, but remember the summer of 2020 when there were all those riots?” Earhardt said.
“Where are the hearings for all those riots?
“For people burning buildings and burning businesses?
“You can’t pick and choose which riot is the good one and which is the bad one. They’re all bad,” she said.
The comments from Earhardt comes shortly after a man tried to stab Lee Zeldin during one of his New York gubernatorial campaign events.
Despite the nature of the attack, “woke” New York prosecutors freed the suspect after just a few hours.
Federal prosecutors were forced to step in and arrest the attacker.
On Saturday, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) called out the Left’s double standard on free speech on “Unfiltered with Dan Bongino.”
“They don’t think that the First Amendment rights apply to you and [me].
“Think about what they’ve said about your free speech rights.
“The Left today says if you don’t agree with them, you’re not even allowed to talk — and if you try, we’re going to call you racist, and we’re going to try to cancel you.
“And now we have the Left giving a wink and a nod to people actually trying to use violence and intimidation tactics against people they disagree with.
“So that’s what frightens me — their attack on your First Amendment rights, your Second Amendment rights, your Fourth Amendment due process rights.
“And now there’s this almost this double standard that they have when it comes to violence that they see from people who agree with their political position,” he said.
