Fox News star Trace Gallagher has just scored a huge promotion after the network announced that he will be the new anchor of “Fox News @ Night.”
According to FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, Gallagher will take over Shannon Bream’s old show.
Gallagher will start on October 3rd and will work from Los Angeles.
He will replace Bream who was recently promoted to host of Fox News Sunday.
Gallagher will continue as the network’s chief breaking news correspondent.
“When it comes to breaking news coverage, Trace Gallagher is one of the best in the business and having a seasoned journalist at the helm of this hour ensures our viewers unrivaled 24/7 news coverage,” Scott said in a statement.
Gallagher said, “It’s an honor to lead Fox News @ Night and I look forward to breaking down the major headlines for our audience across the country every evening.”
Fox News issued a statement that said:
