Fox News Leaves Competition in Dust, Quadruples MSNBC in Top Prime Time Demo, Crushes CNN

Fox News is continuing to dominate cable ratings while the conservative network’s left-wing “rivals” see their viewing numbers crumble.

In the key 25-54 age demographic, Fox News quadrupled MSNBC during prime time on Friday night, the latest figures show.

Tucker Carlson’s show continues to dominate as does Fox News hit show “The Five.”

For CNN and MSNBC, the news is about as good as President Joe Biden’s approval numbers and he is currently the least popular POTUS in polling history.

Fox News crushed the competition in the key demo advertisers crave but also in total viewers.

As for the three cable news networks overall, here are the total day averages in total viewers and the 25-54 demo.

Total viewers:

  • CNN: 579,000
  • Fox News: 1.59 million
  • MSNBC: 893,000
  • 25-54 Demo:
  • CNN: 123,000
  • Fox News: 230,000
  • MSNBC: 91,000

Here are the prime time averages — encompassing shows which air from 8-11 p.m. — in total viewers and the 25-54 demo.

Total viewers:

  • CNN: 660,000
  • Fox News: 2.21 million
  • MSNBC: 1.20 million
  • 25-54 Demo:
  • CNN: 140,000
  • Fox News: 366,000
  • MSNBC: 88,000
