Garth Brooks Caves after Backlash to Calling Anti-Bud Light Consumers ‘A**holes’

“Woke” country music superstar Garth Brooks has caved over the backlash after he trashed Americans who refuse to drink Bud Light.

The singer was hit with a massive backlash for calling people who boycotted Bud Light “a**holes.”

Brooks claimed that people who turned on Bud Light over the Dylan Mulvaney marketing stunt don’t have “manners.”

He then declared that he will sell Bud Light in his bar and suggested that people who don’t like the brand can drink elsewhere.

“I want it to be a place you feel safe in, I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners and people like one another,” Brooks said earlier.

“And yes, we’re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are.

“It’s not our decision to make.

“Our thing is this: If you are let into this house, love one another.

“If you’re an a**hole, there are plenty of other places on Lower Broadway.”

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) ripped the singer in response:

“I’m sure glad we have Garth Brooks to tell us who is and isn’t an asshole.

“Question, tho: Does it make someone an a**hole if they cheat on their spouse, write a song about it with their paramour, and then publish the duet with THAT VERY paramour?

“Or does that make for a good person, righteous in their moral preening?”

In the wake of the backlash to his comments, Brooks now appears to be singing a different tune, however.

“Everybody’s got their opinions,” Brooks said last night.

“But inclusiveness is always going to be me.

“I think diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the answer to the problems that are coming.

“So I love diversity,” the “woke” singer added.

“All inclusive, so all are welcome.

“I understand that might not be other people’s opinions, but that’s OK, man…

“So, here’s the deal, man, if you want to come to Friends in Low Places, come in.

“But come in with love, come in with tolerance, patience.

“Come in with an open mind, and it’s cool.

“And if you’re one of those people that just can’t do that, I get it.

“If you ever are one of those people that want to try, come.”
