Gavin Newsom Unveils Plan to Track Californians from ‘Cradle to Career’

Fresh after his meetings with the Chinese Communist Party during his globally publicized trip to China, Gov. Gavin Newsom has unveiled a tyrannically new plan to track California residents.

Newsom has apparently been inspired by the Communist regime and is now focused on importing his own version of China’s “social credit system” to the Golden State.

The Democrat governor calls his proposal “Cradle-to-Career.”

While sounding eerily like “Cradle-to-Grave,” the plan seeks to track all Californians from birth, for the rest of their lives.

According to Newsom, it is necessary to track the public to improve “the quality of life for millions of Californians.”

However, critics argue that Newsom’s scheme would essentially be one of the spawns of China’s current social credit system.

The system will collect information on all California residents based on “one billion data points.”

More importantly, these data points wouldn’t materialize out of thin air.

The data would come from people living in California, their real lives, and private information.

However, Newsom’s announcement was incredibly vague when it comes to revealing what data will be tracked and how it will be obtained.

While announcing his “Cradle to… Career” scheme, the California governor said:

“By leveraging billions of data points, California’s Cradle-to-Career data system will be a game-changer for improving the quality of life for millions of Californians and highlighting ways to improve opportunity in the classroom and access to the workforce.”

Newsom clearly assumes that nobody in their right mind would say “no” to his positive-sounding scheme.

However, a lot of people in their right mind are questioning what the plan actually involves.

Young people, in particular, are being targeted with this policy.

Newsom continues:

“It will illuminate gaps and identify opportunities throughout students’ education experiences so they can ultimately reach their goals for life and careers (….) race, gender, ability, and geography to illuminate and address areas of strength and needed growth and any inequities.”

While the explanation of the system was filled with buzzwords and little else, some of the terms used may hint at the true agenda behind the scheme.

The governor says his plan seeks to “address… any inequities.”

“inequity,” not to be confused with “inequality,” has become a buzzword on the radical Left in recent years.

While it may sound well-meaning at a glance, the Left’s “equity” agenda is based on Marxism.

Whereas “equality” teaches that everybody should be treated equally, no matter their race or sex, “equity” asserts that people should be treated differently depending on their skin color, “gender identity,” or mental state.

Under the “equity” ideology, for example, a transgender would be given advantages, such as securing a college scholarship or being offered a job, over a normal person.

How people will be tracked and what data will be held by Newsom’s government has yet to be revealed, however.
