Geraldo Rivera Gets ‘Canceled’ by Fox News Show ‘The Five’

Geraldo Rivera, the veteran television host, has been “canceled” by the hit Fox News show “The Five.”

Geraldo announced the move when he took to social media to complain about it.

He suggested it may be temporary but rumors have emerged that he’s “off for good.”

“My appearances today and tomorrow on The Five have been canceled,” Geraldo said on Twitter.

“I’m sure there’s a good reason.

“Never fear, I’ll be back week after next,” he claimed.

“Stay safe and happy. Thanks.”

But the sudden cancelation may have to do with how Geraldo handled the shocking firing of Fox News star Tucker Carlson.

On April 26th, days after the announcement of Carlson’s was benched by Fox News, Geraldo said:

“I don’t wish ill on anybody, but there is no doubt as I said at the time-Tucker Carlson’s perverse January 6 conspiracy theory was bullsh*t.

“Having lost the election President Trump incited an insurrection that sought to undermine our Constitutional process,” he falsely claimed.

The comments appeared to have caused a rift between Geraldo and his colleagues at Fox.

Geraldo’s co-host on “The Five,” Greg Gutfeld, was not pleased and called him out publicly.

“You’re a class act Geraldo,” Gutfeld responded to his tweet.

“A real man of the people.”

But the President of News Cycle Media, Jon Nicosia, believes this is not a temporary ban.

Nicosia, who regularly gets the inside track from his media sources, suggested that executives are permanently removing Geraldo over his tweets.

“Word is you are ‘off for good,'” Nicosia said.

“After ‘destroying the chemistry with recent Tweets.’”
