Former Fox News host Geraldo Rivera showed his true colors when he threw a temper tantrum over the GOP-led House finally launching an impeachment inquiry into Democrat President Joe Biden.
After months of slow-walking from Republican leadership, the evidence of corruption against Biden cannot be ignored any longer.
GOP lawmakers have been pushing for the House to move on Biden’s impeachment for months as evidence of a foreign influence-peddling scheme has been stacking up.
Republicans such as Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) had threatened to remove Kevin McCarthy as speaker if he did not move to impeach.
However, earlier this week, McCarthy suddenly changed his tune and unexpectedly moved to impeach, so Biden will now meet his fate.
The move comes amid Biden’s diminishing popularity among his own party members.
As Slay News reported, almost 70% of Democrats do not want Biden to run for re-election in 2024.
But Geraldo was not happy and lashed out at the GOP on Twitter/X.
“Impeaching Biden.
“For what?
“Just because.”

On Tuesday, Speaker McCarthy directed the GOP-controlled House to open an impeachment inquiry into Biden.
McCarthy said: “These are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption and warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives.
“That’s why today I am directing our House committee to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.”
McCarthy said Reps. James Comer (R-KY), Jason Smith (R-MO), and Jim Jordan (R-OH) will lead the impeachment inquiry.
The speaker said earlier: “To open an impeachment inquiry is a serious matter, and House Republicans will not take it lightly or use it for political purposes.
“The American people deserve to be heard on this matter through their elected representatives.
“That’s why, if we move forward with an impeachment inquiry, it would occur through a vote on the floor of the People’s House and not through a declaration by one person.”

According to Punchbowl News:
Speaker Kevin McCarthy plans to tell House Republicans in a closed meeting this week that launching an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden is the “logical next step” in the GOP’s probes of the president and his son, Hunter Biden.
McCarthy and the House Republican leadership scheduled a closed-door session for Thursday morning so that members could get an update on the investigations led by House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and House Oversight Committee Chair Jamie Comer (R-Ky.).
