Good Samaritan Turns Tables on Armed Robbers: Snatches Their Gun, Sends Them Running

A good samaritan has been captured on video stepping in to stop armed robbers by snatching a gun from one of the crooks and turning the tables on the criminals.

Crime is out of control in Democrat-led cities with no clear end in sight.

Citizens are now stepping up to do the jobs their leaders refuse to do.

One concerned New York City resident stopped an armed robbery crew on a motorcycle who had struck at least four times that day, police say.

In the video below you can see a bystander running toward the crime in progress and not only stopping the attack but also managing to wrestle the gun from the vicious thug.

He then gave chase, pointing their own gun at them as they fled.

“It was like something you see out of a movie. How are they going to try to rob someone in broad daylight?” a resident told The New Post.

NYPD Chief of Detectives said:

“It’s very tough.

“They’ve hit so many times.

“It’s like they hit five, six, seven times in a day.

“They’re just scooting all over and they’re in and out of traffic and they’re flying all over. It’s tough to follow.

“They ride up on the sidewalk with a weapon – a gun, threaten with a gun.

“Thank God we haven’t had anyone shot in this incident.

“The gun was recovered in the last incident, where people were fighting back and we retained the gun.”

“Everyone in the store got on the ground,” said Maximo Tavares.

“All I know is they wanted his chain.”

According to The New York Post:

The same duo also is believed to have attacked three other innocent New Yorkers, including the woman near the Guggenheim at East 89th Street and Fifth Avenue, sources said.

In the crime outside the museum, the motorcycle-riding duo approached the woman around 12:15 p.m., and the passenger on the back of the cycle tried to steal her jewelry, cops said.

She fought him off, and the pair fled, authorities said. Several hours later, at 4:40 p.m., an Upper Manhattan resident was walking to work when he was approached by two suspects on apparently the same cycle on West 204th Street at Broadway, sources said.

The duo threatened the man with a firearm, apparently targeting his chain, and told him they would shoot if he moved, sources said. They ultimately fled empty-handed.
