Congressional investigators issued a warning to Democrat President Joe Biden and his family by revealing they have secured the cooperation of one of their top business associates, Eric Schwerin.
Schwerin is a close business associate of Hunter Biden who also had dealings with the president.
House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) delivered the bad news to the Bidens by warning that Schwerin “is cooperating with us.”
“His attorneys and my counsel are communicating on a regular basis,” Comer revealed.
“Now, I feel confident that he’s going to work with us and provide us with the information that we have requested.
“I think that Schwerwin is going to be a very valuable witness for us in this investigation.
“We know individuals, many are cooperating with us now, but others, not so much.
“We’re going to start subpoenaing people in the private sector, we’re going to start subpoenaing financial institutions to get us the information.
“And then we’ll go from there.”

Comer also urged Hunter Biden to come clean before it’s too late.
“If I were Hunter Biden, and I’m as innocent as his lawyers and the little hit guy that works in the White House and attacks me every day says he is, I would want to clear my name in front of the House Oversight Committee,” Comer said.
“He could come in front of the House Oversight Committee right now and defend his good name.
“He would have 20 Democrats that would definitely support him, and he could make 26 Republicans look bad if all this information we have from his laptop, all the emails that were in his own words, all the audio that are in his own voice, if for some reason we’re misinterpreting that, then he could make us look bad.
“But we all know that this family was involved in influence peddling,” he said.
“And this administration is doing everything in its ability to try to block oversight.
“That’s a very positive development, I believe that’s going to lead to a few others coming forward.”

In a Friday interview with Newsmax, Comer accused the Biden family of obstructing efforts to get financial documents from the president’s son, Hunter.
Hunter Biden has missed a deadline to supply the House Oversight Committee with documents pertaining to his business dealings.
“We were hopeful that the Bidens might cooperate with us,” Comer said on the “John Bachman Now.”
“But obviously we’re not surprised that they continue to obstruct and deny, because it’s going to be hard to defend a lot of the stuff that they’ve done,” Comer said.
“So we believe the information is coming in at a good pace.
“But we’ve set everything up to where at some point we’ll be able to subpoena the Bidens for specific information because to win a subpoena in court you have to prove that you’ve sincerely tried to get evidence for a long time. And that’s what we’ve been doing with the Biden family, and that’s what we’ll continue to do.”
