Greg Gutfeld’s Mother-in-Law Stuck in Ukraine, Says ‘Heroes’ Trying to Help Her

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld has revealed that his mother-in-law is currently stuck in Ukraine in the middle of Russia’s brutal invasion.

Gutfeld said his wife’s mom is currently in Lviv which is close to the border with Poland.

During a segment on “The Five,” Gutfeld spoke about his hero Fox News colleagues who are reporting from the region.

He said the Fox team is helping get his mother-in-law out of the country before Putin’s forces reach the city.

“Well thank you, Lucas, you’re in Lviv, so is my mother-in-law,” Gutfeld said.

“I think she’s at your hotel.

“If you run into her, give her my best.

“Give everybody there my best.

“You’re doing great work, thank you.

“I do wanna point out that, like, our coworkers are unbelievably awesome.

“The things that they have been doing for a grouchy cynical bastard like myself.

“People have been helping me out, somebody who has been obnoxious to them before, and will probably be obnoxious to them after.

“These guys over there — I won’t name them, but you probably know who they are, you’ve seen them — they’re absolute heroes helping out a little old lady they just met.

“And maybe by tomorrow or the next day, she’s gonna be with her daughter, and it’s because of those guys who work for Fox News.”

The Fox News star, who hosts or co-hosts two of Fox’s biggest shows, went on to name the network’s vice president of field operations Scott Wilder, Fox News correspondent Steve Harrigan, and Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst, for helping him in this trying situation,

“They are all just heroes,” Gutfeld said.

From The New York Post:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky complained Thursday that the US and other countries waited too long to respond to Russia’s invasion of his country -— calling sanctions a “good start,” but saying only a no-fly zone would stop the slaughter.

“The whole world started making decisions too late,” Zelenksy said in a televised address.

“I want to thank the countries that are helping with weapons. We are thankful, but it’s too late.”

Zelensky applauded Western nations for moving to punish Russia by hobbling its economy, saying, “Strong sanctions right now, I think that was a good start.”

“Thank God, now we have those sanctions,” he said.
