Gunman Caught on Video Carjacking Driver on Chicago Expressway in Broad Daylight

A video has emerged online that shows a gunman committed a brazen carjacking in broad daylight on a Chicago expressway.

The disturbing footage shows the masked crook apparently shopping for a vehicle to hijack.

A commuter captured the video of the crime that went viral on social media.

In the video, three people can be seen running out of a car after an accident.

They walk on the highway looking for an escape.

However, one of them, who is wearing a black ski mask and toting a large weapon, tries to carjack passing vehicles.

The carjacker seems to offer a fistful of cash to the man who’s recording the video in exchange for a ride.

The commuter turns him down and moments after the armed thug executes his carjacking and drives off.

The news comes as violent crime continues to run wild in Chicago under Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

According to ABC, at least 31 people were shot, eight fatally, in Chicago over the weekend.
