Half of Transgender Inmates in Wisconsin’s Women’s Prisons Were Convicted of Sex Crimes

Half of all the biological male transgender inmates in Wisconsin’s female prisons were convicted of sex crimes, a bombshell new report has revealed.

According to data published by the Foundation’s Oversight Project, 81 of the 161 transgender inmates were convicted of at least one count of sexual abuse or assault.

The data was obtained via a public records request to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WDOC) in April 2022.

The WDOC finally provided the information over a year later.

Details were not disclosed by the WDOC regarding how many transgender inmates applied to a women’s facility and the number of requests granted, according to the documents.

The prison system also did not provide how many had transferred with sex crimes on their record or how many were charged while in prison, the Daily Caller reported.

The Oversight Project published the data on social media.

In a post on Twitter/X, the Oversight Project described the push to house violent male sex criminals in female prisons as “disgusting.”

The records don’t show which other crimes the transgender inmates may have committed.

The lack of additional information means the listed trans prisoners may have multiple sex crime convictions.

“The transgender issue isn’t just about women in sports, which seems to be the context people are most comfortable talking about the transgender contagion in,” according to Heritage Foundation Oversight Project Director Mike Howell.

“This data shows a much uglier truth, that sexual crime and transgenderism are linked.”

In June, the Supreme Court affirmed a previous ruling by a lower court that sided with a transgender inmate.

Kesha Williams, a biological male, successfully sued Fairfax County jail for discrimination after he was placed in an all-male jail.

According to the Fourth Circuit, the jail discriminated against Williams under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The jail was accused of failing to provide treatment for Williams’ “gender dysphoria” and for allowing other inmates to harass him.

As Slay News reported earlier, another former inmate recently hit the jackpot after being awarded a $160,000 settlement from New York taxpayers because jail staff “misgendered” him while he was locked up.

Makyyla Holland, a 25-year-old biological male who claims to be a transgender “woman,” was outraged when he was placed “in the male section of the jail.”

“I just felt I was a laughing stock there I was being discriminated because of me being a trans woman,” said Holland, who was jailed twice in 2021 after being arrested on criminal contempt and assault charges.

“That put me at a high risk of harassment.

“I had to adapt to what the jail put me through.”
