Twice-failed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has suggested that former First Lady Melania Trump is an outsider who doesn’t fit in with the rest of the political elite.
Clinton shared an account of meeting Melania Trump during an appearance on ABC News propaganda show “The View.”
She compared Melania Trump to a child who doesn’t fit in with the popular kids at a birthday party.
Indeed, Clinton described the encounter in the same way a bullying high school clique might talk about an outcast who unexpectedly shows up to a party.
She suggested Melania’s appearance at the funeral of Rosalynn Carter was an awkward surprise for Clinton and her circle of establishment-approved first ladies.
“I saw Laura Bush – who is just absolutely delightful – talking with Melania Trump and none of us knew that she was going to be there,” Clinton said.
“And Michelle and Jill Biden and I were, like, ‘Wow, nobody told us.'”
Despite the note of contempt in her voice, Clinton said it was a “positive thing” for Melania to be there in the spirit of unity.
However, she then suggested that the “training” and “good manners” of Hillary’s clique meant they were able to be civil with Melania Trump.
“But immediately, you know, all of our training, our good manners, everybody immediately went up and Michelle gave her one of her hugs, and even Jill said how glad she was to see her and I said hello to her, and I write about how I thought it was a very positive thing for her to show up,” Clinton said.
The show’s liberal co-hosts chirped in with patronizing agreement that Melania showed courage by attending the event.
“I think it was a little scary,” Clinton said.
“I say she looks like the kid on the outside of the birthday party, like, am I going to be accepted? Do I belong here?”
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg then appeared to give the audience permission to applaud a “positive” comment about Melania Trump.
Goldberg turned to the audience after the mysteriously snuffed applause and said it was just fine to applaud Melania Trump.
“You can give her that,” she said as the audience clapped.
“You can give her that.”

It’s no secret that Melania Trump has been treated with scorn by the political, media, and entertainment establishments since her husband’s entry into politics.
The elusive former First Lady is releasing her first memoir, in which she pledges to correct “misrepresentations” that have spread about her over the years.
“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” she said in a recent trailer.
“I believe it is important to share my perspective: The truth.”
Meanwhile, Clinton has never been able to accept losing the 2016 presidential election to Melania’s husband President Donald Trump.
She is currently busy plugging her fourth memoir, “Something Lost, Something Gained.”
In the book, she shares her equivocal feelings about Melania.
“On a gut level, I have never believed that a wife bears responsibility for the actions of her husband,” Clinton wrote.
“But did she aid and abet her husband’s worst instincts?”
