Veteran actor Mark Wahlberg has sent a message to young Christians to congratulate them on “their relationship with the Lord.”
Wahlberg is one of the few stars in Hollywood to buck the “woke” trend and speak openly about his faith.
However, the tide may finally be turning as the entertainment industry is beginning to move away from the bankrupt “woke” ideology.
As Slay News recently reported, Netflix has now realized it has fallen victim to the “get woke, go broke” mantra.
The streaming platform canceled several “woke” shows just days after warning employees that their far-left ideologies are no longer welcome at the streaming platform.
Mark Wahlberg is anti-woke and is publicly embracing his faith while urging others to do so.
Wahlberg took to Instagram to congratulate his son and all other young Christians.
The 50-year-old Uncharted star posted photos of his family as they celebrated his son Michael’s conformation along with a caption joking, “So proud of this young man.
“Congrats buddy!! Even though mommy deserves most of the credit. Thanks babe.”
He also posted a congratulatory video recorded in Europe, in which he encouraged all young Catholics everywhere who earned their confirmation this year.
Wahlberg said:
“Good morning from Europe.
“I just got down on my hands and my knees to express my gratitude on a beautiful day.
“Congratulations to my son Michael for making his confirmation.
“All the young people out there who are confirmed and taking their relationship with the Lord into their adulthood, what a commitment you guys have made, congratulations to all of you.”
