Hollywood hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who worked with several A-list celebrities, has tragically died “suddenly and expectedly,” his family has announced.
Guerrero, who worked with Katie Perry and Demi Moore, was just 34 years old when he died.
The Los Angeles-based hairstylist, who had a close bond with the Kardashians, has now “gone to Heaven” according to his sister Gris.
On Saturday, Guerrero’s younger sister Gris released an emotional statement confirming the passing of the Texas native.
She revealed the family had set up a GoFundMe page in his honor.
“My name is Gris, Jesus’s younger sister,” she wrote in her emotional message.
“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven.
“He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.”
She added: “Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.
“Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly.
“Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston.
“We hope that you find it in your heart to help in any way and/or share this GoFundMe.”
The page has a $80,000 target.
The campaign has far surpassed the goal, raising almost $100,000 at the time of writing.
Guerrero’s cause of death has not yet been revealed.
All details regarding his sudden passing are being withheld from the public.
Guerrero was a close friend of reality TV star Kylie Jenner.
The daughter of Olympian Bruce Jenner has yet to make a public statement.
However, Jenner’s make-up artist Ariel Tejada posted a lengthy tribute on Instagram.
He uploaded a selection of photos and said they had experienced “the most painful, breathtaking pain I have ever felt when I found out you left us.”
The celebrity hairstylist also worked with stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Addison Rae, and Dua Lipa.
The news comes after another celebrity hairstylist also died suddenly earlier this month.
As Slay News reported, Hollywood hairstylist Graham Nation died suddenly while working out at a Los Angeles gym.
Nation, who worked with Demi Moore and several other popular A-list celebrities, was just 39 years old when he died.
The health-conscious stylist, who was born Graham Cheek, died on February 14, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
A case summary released on the medical examiner’s website said he died while at a gym.
However, the medical examiner stated that the exact cause of his death had yet to be determined.
