Anti-Trump Hollywood star Michael Rapaport was left stunned after witnessing firsthand the results of the Democrats’ crime policies in New York City yesterday.
Rapaport spotted a criminal in action in a Rite Aid store and filmed a brazen act of robbery.
He watched a shoplifter fill up bags of whatever he wanted and just walk right out the door, completely unchallenged by the store’s security.
Unfortunately, the scene has become a familiar sight in Democrat-controlled cities across America.
In Chicago, Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s answer was to berate retail stores for not hiring private security like they have to do in third-world countries.
In San Francisco and New York, big chain stores like Walgreens, Rite Aid, and Safeway are closing stores that serve vital roles in communities because the failed politicians have decided, against all political instincts, to side with the criminals.
Rapaport couldn’t believe he was seeing and filmed the theft.
He provided a voiceover to describe the action as it unfolded.
He said: “I can’t believe I’m seeing this sh*t.
“This f*cking guy just filled his two bags up with everything in Rite Aid, right here on 80th and First Avenue is walking down the street like sh*t is Gucci.
“He looked me in the face like ‘what’s good.’
“I was watching him the whole time.
“My man just went Christmas shopping in January.
“He had the condoms, the shampoo.”

He later told the Daily Mail that he was disgusted with what he saw.
“These criminals know there are no ramifications. We have to put more of these mfers in jail.
“You see all these videos on Instagram of people shoplifting like they’re going for a walk in the park. It’s pathetic that this is happening in the greatest city in the world.
When he posted the video to social media he captioned it:
“Duke just went CHRISTMAS SHOPPING at @riteaid I’m TRIPPING this happened in broad day like it was nothing. New @iamrapaport discusses it all.
“I was just informed this Rite Aid is closing 2/15 because of this, leaving the workers JOBLESS. @ericadamsfornyc YO,’ tagging the drug store chain and New York City Mayor Eric Adams.”
