A top European Union lawmaker has made a gruesome discovery after finding her murdered husband’s dead body in his car.
Italian MEP Francesca Donato found her husband Angelo Onorato dead in his vehicle with a zip tie tightly wrapped around his neck, indicating he was murdered.
Additionally, Donato was also with her daughter when they found Onorato’s body in his car.
Both women insist that Onorato was murdered, according to Euronews.
The body of the 54-year-old architect was found in Palermo, the capital of the Italian island of Sicily, according to Agenzia Nova.
The outlet noted that police confirmed, “Onorato had something tied tightly around his neck, perhaps an electrician’s zip tie.”
However, the report states that police are still investigating and have yet to clarify the cause of death.
In a social media post, the couple’s daughter Carolina wrote:
“No one dare say or even think that my father committed suicide.
“They killed him,” she declared.
“He was not a person who would have ever left his family like this, and above all, as I personally found him together with my mother, I can tell you that it was not a suicide but a murder,” she added.
In a video posted on social media, Donato claims that her husband was murdered because of her opposition Covid vaccine policies and of the funding of Ukraine’s endless war with Russia.
A video clip of Donato describing why she opposes the EU funneling taxpayer money to Ukraine is going viral online.
In the video, Donato asserts she does not support sending European funds to purchase weapons for Ukraine’s war with Russia.
The Member of the European Parliament also states that doesn’t support sanctions against Russia because they are “useless.”

The Italian MEP also spoke out against the global mass Covid mRNA vaccination campaign.
During the latest International Covid Summit, she raised the alarm over the soaring numbers of injuries and deaths resulting from the injections.
