Hollywood legend James Woods has demanded Republicans get tough and hold Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) accountable for the misinformation he spread about President Donald Trump and Russia.
As Slay News reported, calls have been mounting to remove Schiff from Congress following the release of Special Counsel John Durham’s report earlier this week.
Durham’s bombshell report proved the claims linking President Donald Trump to Russia were a hoax that was fabricated by Hillary Clinton with the knowledge of the highest-profile Democrats, who helped to spread the lie.
Schiff repeatedly lied to the American people that he had “evidence” that linked Trump to Russia while pursuing phony “investigations” into the hoax.
Woods said: “Why don’t you Republicans exercise power when you are in power?
“Your party holds a majority in the House of Representatives.
“Why has Adam Schiff not been held accountable for the Russia Hoax?
“You guys are all talk and no action. Hopeless.”

Woods’ calls come as GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has just introduced a resolution to expel Schiff from Congress.
Luna said: “Adam Schiff lied to the American people.
“He used his position on House Intelligence to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars and abused the trust placed in him as Chairman.
“He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives.
“The Durham Report makes clear that the Russian Collusion was a lie from day one and Schiff knowingly used his position in an attempt to divide our country.”

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) agreed.
She said: “This is how it is done.
“Schiff is a complete disgrace to Congress and has no place in this great institution.
“I look forward to voting to expel him without a second of hesitation.”

Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) also seemed to agree.
“It raises the question about Adam Schiff,” McCarthy said.
“Remember when Adam told the American public he had proof?
“Remember when he said he didn’t know the whistleblower?
“What he put America through when he openly lied to us.
“It raises questions about his character and whether he should be in Congress.”
