Hollywood legend James Woods has issued a heartbreaking statement about his good friend and fellow star Treat Williams.
Williams died on Monday afternoon in a tragic motorcycle accident.
The actor was 71.
He was out for a ride on his bike when a car cut him off and sent him flying to his death.
His agent of 15 years, Barry McPherson, said: โHe was killed this afternoon.
โHe was making a left or a right and a car cut him off.
โIโm just devastated.
โHe was the nicest guy.
โHe was so talented,โ he said.
โHe was an actorโs actor.
โFilmmakers loved him.
โHeโs been the heart of Hollywood since the late 1970s.
โHe was really proud of his performance this year.
โHeโs been so happy with the work that I got him.
โHeโs had a balanced career.โ
James Woods said:
โTreat and I spent months in Rome filming โOnce Upon a Time in America.โ
โIt can be pretty lonely on the road during a long shoot, but his resilient good cheer and sense of humor was a Godsend.
โI really loved him and am devastated that heโs gone. #RIP #TreatWilliams.โ

Shortly before he died, Williams posted a video to Instagram from his ranch.
โHay day,โ the caption reads, along with a video of his land.
