Hollywood star Jamie Foxx has been hospitalized after suffering a mysterious “medical emergency” in Atlanta, according to reports.
Foxx is in Atlanta shooting his newest film “Back In Action” with costars Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close
TMZ reported that the emergency was serious enough that Foxx’s family flew in from out of town to visit with him at the hospital.
One source said ominously: “He’s communicating now, and that’s good news.”
The actor’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, confirmed TMZ’s reporting on Instagram.
She said he suffered an unknown “medical complication” and that the family appreciated all the prayers.
She said:

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers.
“The family asked for privacy during this time.
