Billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has just launched a major new scheme that will pump tens of millions of dollars into the fake “meat” industry.
Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez announced a $60 million initial investment into so-called “sustainable protein.”
These sustainable “foods” include “cultivated” or lab-grown “meats.”
According to Bezos, Sanchez, and their globalist allies at the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations (UN), replacing traditionally farmed foods with corporate-produced fake products will “save the planet” from “climate change.”
In an unfortunate twist of fate for Bezos and Sanchez, however, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has just banned fake “meat” products in Florida shortly after the billionaire couple just relocated to the Sunshine State.
A news release revealed that, on May 1, 2024, DeSantis signed the legislation, SB 1084, effective immediately.
DeSantis revealed that the move is a bid to stop the WEF’s goal of forcing the world to eat lab-grown meat and insects.
As the press release states, insects are described as “an overlooked source of protein” by the globalists.
“Florida is increasing meat production and encouraging residents to continue to consume and enjoy 100% real Florida beef,” DeSantis’s office stated.
The governor also previously criticized the WEF’s plan to “force the world to eat meat grown in a petri dish or bugs to achieve their authoritarian goals.”
DeSantis warns that the WEF and the unelected organization’s globalist allies want to “eliminate meat” and destroy the agriculture industry.
“They want to basically eliminate meat, they want to eliminate cattle, they want to eliminate chickens, and they want to create protein in laboratories,” Gov. DeSantis said.
“So it’s fake, essentially, lab-created meat, and their goal is to get to a point where you will not be raising cattle, where you will not be developing meat like we’ve been doing for hundreds and hundreds of years in the State of Florida.”
In opposition to the WEF, UN, and others, Florida has taken the following action to support the state’s agriculture and meat industry:
- Modernizing Florida’s Right to Farm Act to protect reasonable agricultural activities from frivolous lawsuits.
- Signing legislation to ensure that agri-tourism operators qualify for protection against property tax assessments when operating on agricultural lands.
- Simplifying the steps for Florida Farmers to receive sales tax exemptions for agricultural materials.
- Reestablishing funding for the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program in 2022 at $300 million.
- Protecting through that program over 36,000 acres of farmland.
- Investing more than $2.8 billion into Florida’s agricultural industry in The Framework for Freedom Budget.
The move came about a month after the Bezos Earth Fund, chaired by the Amazon founder and Sanchez, announced an investment into “sustainable protein.”
The unnatural, factory-manufactured slop that Sanchez is referring to includes includes plant-based, fermented, and cultivated “meats.”
The push for the general public to replace real meat with fake products is part of the organization’s larger, $1 billion commitment to expanding “food production,” the New York Post reported.
According to Sanchez, the push is because globalists “need to feed 10 billion people” while also fighting “global warming.”
“We need to feed 10 billion people with healthy, sustainable food throughout this century while protecting our planet,” Sanchez wrote in a statement.
“We can do it, and it will require a ton of innovation.”
Unlike regular meat, lab-grown meats are grown from real animal cells that are replicated scientifically, which eliminates the need to farm animals, the news source added.
Advocates for such products, like Bill Gates, argue that fake food helps to solve the alleged “climate crisis.”
However, as Slay News previously reported, a study found that Gates’s lab-grown “meats” are actually much worse for the environment than real foods produced by American farmers.
Gates and his allies in the WEF have been heavily pushing for the public to switch to lab-grown meat by arguing it helps fight “climate change.”
In a 2021 interview with MIT Technology Review, Gates argued that “all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef” to meet the green agenda goals of the WEF.
However, a recent study suggests that lab-grown meat’s “green” credentials are not what people have been led to believe.
Researchers have revealed that lab-grown or “cultured” “meat,” produced by cultivating animal cells, is up to 25 times worse for the climate than real beef.
Meanwhile, a new study has just confirmed that cows do not cause “climate change,” despite the push to eliminate the farming industry to supposedly “save the planet.”
As Slay News reported, the study has debunked the globalist narrative that emissions from cows are causing “climate change” while proving that cattle herds actually lower methane gas levels in the atmosphere.
