Jesse Watters Dooms ‘Lame Duck’ Biden: ‘Can’t Do Anything Right’

Fox News host Jesse Watters has doomed “lame duck” President Joe Biden, warning that the “American public has lost confidence in the American presidency.”

Speaking during his show “Jesse Watters Primetime,” the host argued that Biden “can’t do anything right.”

“No one has confidence in the American presidency anymore,” Watters said.

“The last president was hunted down like a dog and impeached twice and this president is already a lame duck who can’t do anything right.

“All of these institutions have been disrespecting us for far too long.

“They don’t listen to the people and they don’t even pretend to be about the people that they serve and the ones that do are savagely attacked for it and so the country is at a crossroads.

“Some just want to escape into their little iPhones.

“Some want to burn everything to the ground and some want to kick out the idiots running things and put some people with common sense back in charge.

“The question is, which one are you?” he said.

A little more than a year and a half since taking office, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have witnessed several shakeups among key members of their staff, with more than 25 individuals leaving their roles with the administration to pursue other careers.

On Wednesday, just months before the midterm elections, the White House announced that Kate Bedingfield, Biden’s communications director and a key strategist for his campaign for the presidency, would be departing from the White House later this month, adding to the string of departures from the West Wing.

Since his tenure in the White House began in January 2021, Biden has witnessed several senior officials leave their positions for other career opportunities.

Notable departures include former White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who resigned in May for a gig at MSNBC and had served Biden since he took office, as well as Cedric Richmond, who also resigned in May after serving as director of the White House Office of Public Engagement since Biden took office.

From The Hill:

Seven in 10 Americans say they do not want President Biden to run for a second term, according to a new poll that comes as Biden’s approval numbers remain low and his party braces for losses this November.

A Harvard CAPS–Harris Poll survey shared exclusively with The Hill found that 71 percent of respondents polled do not think Biden should run for a second term, compared to 29 percent who say he should run.

Among the contingent of respondents who believe the president should not run, 45 percent said Biden should not make another bid because he is a bad president, while about one-third of respondents said he is too old and about one-quarter said because it is time for a change.

“President Biden may want to run again but the voters say ‘no’ to the idea of a second term, panning the job he is doing as president. Only 30 percent of Democrats would even vote for him in a Democratic presidential primary,” Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS–Harris Poll survey, said.
