Fox News star Jesse Watters wanted the network to fire Neil Cavuto and Chris Wallace, according to leaked text messages.
The messages show Watters talking to Tucker Carlson when he expressed his desire for Fox to dismiss Cavuto.
Cavuto hosts “Your World” on Fox News and “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Fox Business.
Carlson also told Watters that he was furious with Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich and wanted her to get fired.
“This girl apparently works for us in the ‘news’ division, though I’d be stunned if she’s ever broken a story,” Carlson said.
“She was on Twitter last night calling out Hannity, and accusing Trump of planning to ‘steal’ the election. Can’t continue.”
Watters text back in response:
“Wallace, Cavuto, and others have got to go.
“Need some fresh blood.
“Should hire some Trump people.”
Carlson had previously pushed for Heinrich’s firing, messages released earlier show.
“Please get her fired,” Carlson said.
“Seriously… What the f*ck?
“I’m actually shocked.
“It needs to stop immediately, like tonight.
“It’s measurably hurting the company
“The stock price is down.
“Not a joke,” he said.
During his show “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Monday, the host also slammed Biden’s interview with MSNBC.
“Have you ever seen White House staffers jump in the middle of an interview like that?” Watters said.
“The anchor was just rattling off a list of bad things happening under Joe Biden.
“Hate crime is on the rise.
“Gun crimes on the rise, attacks on women on the rise, and the White House staffer said, ‘You can’t do that. Sorry…’
“Can’t do what exactly? Ask the president of the United States a question about the country?
“Now, today I spoke with people who’ve been in the room during presidential sit-down interviews under Trump, under Obama, under Bush and a White House staff member cutting off a journalist in the middle of the question to the president is unheard of.
“What kind of corrupt arrangement are we witnessing here?
“And the staff couldn’t even save Biden.
“He went on to confuse Obama with Trump.”
