Jesse Watters’ New Show Crushes Rivals, Becomes Fastest Growing Program on Cable News

Fox News host Jesse Watters is crushing rivals with his new show to become the fastest-growing program on cable news.

The newly-launched “Jesse Watters Primetime” finished the first quarter of 2022 as the third highest-rated cable news program.

This is not easily done for a new show.

Watters averaged 3.1 million viewers and 522,000 in the advertiser-coveted 25-54 age demographic.

The figures mean Watters’ new show the fastest-growing program in cable news.

While the viewing figures are great results for Fox News’s line-up, the same can’t be said for the network’s far-left rivals.

MSNBC and CNN’s viewing numbers show a totally different, and quite grim, story.

The Fox News Channel (FNC) finished the first quarter of 2022 as cable’s most-watched network in primetime and total day viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.

This makes 81 consecutive quarters Fox is the highest-rated cable news channel.

FNC continued to surpass CNN and MSNBC outpacing them combined in total day viewers, the 25-54 demographic, and A18-49 as well as the month of March with viewers and demo.

Total wipeout for the liberal corporate media could be seen as a glimpse of what the Democratic Party will face in the 2022 midterms.

But it gets better for Fox News.

FNC was the only cable news network to post gains versus 2021 in total viewers and A25-54, while CNN and MSNBC were down double digits across the board.

In total day, FNC delivered 1.6 million viewers, 283,000 with the A25-54 demographic and 174,000 with A18-49.

In primetime, FNC netted 2.6 million viewers, 429,000 in the 25-54 demo, and 267,000 with A18-49. Additionally, FNC’s cable news audience share increased to over 50% across all key dayparts and categories.

During the first quarter of 2022, all FNC weekday programs posted increases for total viewers and the 25-54 demo.

Meanwhile, all CNN and MSNBC programs experienced declines.

The network delivered the top 10 programs in cable news in total viewers and the top 14 programs in the younger 25-54 demo.

It also gets better for Jesse Watters.

Because Watters is on another hit show, The Five, and that show is making cable television history by becoming the first non-primetime program to top all of cable for two consecutive quarters.

These are the numbers, according to Fox News:
