House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) has highlighted the lengths that the Democrats and their allies in the corporate media are going to cover up allegations of corruption against President Joe Biden and his family.
After the bombshell testimony of Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and business partner Devon Archer, Jordan noted how the allegations are being downplayed.
On Monday, Archer testified before Congress that he was present during at least 20 business meetings where Joe Biden was brought in to sell “the brand” to foreign associates.
Archer told lawmakers on Capitol Hill that “the brand” being sold by then Vice President Biden was access to the White House.
The Biden admin, media, and Democrats are trying desperately to downplay Archer’s whistleblower testimony.
However, Jordan exposed how weak President Biden’s defense is with one devastating sentence.
Jordan said: “Joe Biden has repeatedly said he didn’t know about his son’s business dealings.
“But attended a 2014 dinner with Hunter’s associates and a Russian oligarch.
“Democrats want you to believe they just talked about the weather!”
Jordan added: “The value Hunter Biden brought to the business arrangement was the Biden brand, and the Biden brand was Joe Biden, a powerful political figure in D.C.
“Joe Biden said that he was not involved.
“Never knew anything about it.
“Never interacted with the business, while he was at two dinners in Georgetown while he was vice president.
“And at one of those dinners was Yelena Baturina [Russian oligarch and wife of former Moscow mayor].
“He spent the dinner there.
“Those are some new facts I think raise concerns.
“If at some point it’s necessary that we have to go to an impeachment inquiry, McCarthy is willing to do that.
“But right now, it’s incumbent upon us to get our work done and do what the Constitution requires.”
