Democrat President Joe Biden has made a stunning claim that he once dumped a dead dog on the doorstep of a Republican voter while serving on a county council in Delaware.
Biden made the shocking admission during a rambling speech about the importance of local government.
During his speech at the National Association of Counties 2022 Legislative Conference in Washington, DC, Biden told a story about getting a call from one of his constituents who lived in a wealthy neighborhood while he was a councilman.
He said the caller had a problem with a dead dog on their property and wanted help.
However, Biden said he didn’t want to help his constituent because she wasn’t a Democrat voter.
Biden said: “I got a call one night, a woman said to me, obviously not of the same persuasion as I was politically, called me and said, ‘There’s a dead dog on my lawn.’
“She said, ‘I want it removed now. I pay your salary.’
“So I went over. I picked it up.
“She said, ‘I want it out of my front yard.’
“I put it on her doorstep,” he claimed.
“I ran for the Senate because it was too hard being on the council,” Biden said to a few laughs.

Biden then claimed that he is not allowed to have his own phone anymore.
“So, I know from personal experience how hard the job you have is,” he said.
“People, people having to phone or, you know, or not afraid to use that phone.
“I used to give out my phone number; can’t do that anymore.
“They don’t even allow me to have a phone anymore.”
Duane Patterson, a producer with Hugh Hewitt, said the story is even more bizarre than it sounds and claimed Biden is lying about his own bio.
“Once again, Joe Biden lies about his own bio,” Patterson wrote.
“This didn’t happen. Not this way.

“Current New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer recalled a story during the December NACo Board of Directors meeting that Biden had told him about his time as council member when a constituent insisted a dead animal immediately be removed from her street.
“Biden arrived in a pickup truck and removed the animal himself that night.
“So again, same group of people, same basic story.
“Except the dog supposedly now was on a Republican’s lawn instead of just out in the street and called in by a constituent of unknown party origin.”
