Joe Rogan: Conservatives ‘Had My Back’ When ‘Far-Left’ Attacked Me

Podcaster Joe Rogan has praised conservatives for supporting him when he came under attack from the “far-left” over his comments about COVID-19 vaccines.

Rogan found himself at the center of a controversy after the corporate media, “woke” celebrities, and left-wing politicians tried to cancel him for interviewing vaccine skeptics on his show.

“They had my back through all the crazy s**t that happened with me,” he said.

He noted that Fox News was one of the few mainstream media outlets that supported him.

“It was Fox News that f***ing had my back,” Rogan said on Tuesday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

Rogan also observed there was a time not too long ago when liberals were the ones who were “pro-free speech” and “open to other people’s ideas,” the New York Post reported.

At that time it was conservatives who were behaving akin to a “suppressive, nanny state, condemn[ing] certain behaviors … that’s not the case today,” the Post added.

“Today the left has gone so far left, so radical, that the right are the ones celebrating comedians, celebrating [Dave] Chappelle,” Rogan added, according to the paper.

Adding to the irony is the fact that the podcaster said he holds liberal views — and yet conservatives still support him.

“I’m so liberal. I talk about it all the time,” he said.

Rogan also said that while he’s “not a conservative,” he does ascribe to certain points of view that conservatives in general support.

“I am pro-Second Amendment, and I am a hunter, and I am a cage-fighting commentator, and I drink, and I smoke cigars, and I like to bow-hunt.”

In addition, Rogan said the pandemic “opened my eyes to human nature,” particularly when some who got government stimulus checks and unemployment insurance weren’t exactly falling over themselves to go back to work after the lockdowns were lifted, the Post said.

Rogan — who hasn’t been vaccinated — has been under fire from the Left for more than a year over the issue.

It started in April 2021 when he suggested that healthy young people shouldn’t get COVID vaccines.

Last August Rogan angered the left further after he blasted the notion of vaccine passports, saying such a measure would take America “one step closer” to a dictatorship.

Things heated up for the podcaster even more on Sept. 1 when he said he caught COVID-19 and was treating it with medications, including ivermectin.

Many on the left wished bad health outcomes for Rogan, who got under their skin again when he tested negative for COVID just days later.

At that point, CNN in effect went to war with Rogan, insisting he advocated for “horse de-wormer” when in fact he took ivermectin prescribed for human consumption.

CNN also published a video of Rogan which had been manipulated to make his skin appear green.

“They’re making s**t up!” he said of CNN.

Rogan even got CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, to admit as much.

In January, rocker Neil Young infamously told Spotify — the streaming service that hosts Rogan’s podcast — to choose between his music and Rogan’s podcast due to its “misinformation” spreading.

Soon Rogan answered back, defending his decisions to interview vaccine skeptics who possess high credentials: “One with Dr. Peter McCullough and one with Dr. Robert Malone.

“Dr. McCullough is a cardiologist and he is the most published physician in his field — in history.

“Dr. Robert Malone owns nine patents on the creation of mRNA vaccine technology and is at least partially responsible for the creation of the technology that led to mRNA vaccines.”
