John Durham Exposes James Comey’s False Claims in Final Report: ‘No Basis for FBI to Launch Investigation’

Special Counsel John Durham has doomed former FBI Director James Comey in his final report.

Durham’s report states that the Department of Justice and the FBI did not have “any actual evidence of collusion” between Russian officials and Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign when they began their “Crossfire Hurricane” probe.

The report exposes false claims that were pushed by Comey in an effort to justify the FBI’s actions to target Trump on behalf of Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.

Durham wrote: “Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report.”

Durham found that Comey and his allies knew claims linking Trump to Russia were false but continued to pursue them anyway.

In his report, Durham reveals that FBI officials continued to seek FISA warrants while admitting that “they did not genuinely believe there was probable cause to believe that the target was knowingly engaged in clandestine intelligence activities on behalf of a foreign power, or knowingly helping another person in such activities.

“And certain personnel disregarded significant exculpatory information that should have prompted investigative restraint and re-examination.”

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley responded to the bombshell report by warning that the finding doom Comey.

“The Report’s elaborate details shred James Comey’s claims of professionalism,” Turley wrote in response to Durham’s findings.

“Yet, Comey continues to sell books on his vision of ‘ethical leadership’ after overseeing what Durham calls an abandonment of ‘fealty’ to the law and standards of the FBI.

“Given Durham’s findings that there was no basis for the actions taken by the FBI in launching this investigation, this would be a good time for former House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff to reveal that evidence he said showed the Russian collusion.

“The Durham report sheds light on the false claims involving the ‘pee-tape’ which it describes as a ‘salacious sexual activity.’

“They found no basis for the claim that was widely reported in the media.

“Indeed, the key sources contradicted themselves.

“However, the Clinton-funded team seemed eager to include the allegation: ‘Danchenko flew from Moscow to London and met with Christopher Steele on the following day. Three days later, in Steele Report… [the] allegation appeared that described salacious sexual activity.’

“The report discusses the DOJ and FBI being politically manipulated.

“The evidence vindicates Trump that this was a well-orchestrated hit job by the Clinton campaign and government officials with a ‘predisposition to investigate Trump.’

“Durham states clearly that there was no basis for the FBI to launch this investigation despite the claims made by James Comey.”
