Joy Behar: Tucker Carlson Is ‘Almost Irrelevant’ Because He Has Only Three Million Daily Viewers

“The View” co-host Joy Behar has tried to tell her audience that Fox News host Tucker Carlson is “almost irrelevant” because his audience is only 3 million people per night.

The comments from Behar come as President Joe Biden, the Democrats, and their allies in the corporate media seek to blame Carlson for the recent shooting in Buffalo, New York.

“Tucker Carlson has, in a country of 326 million people, he has 3 million listeners, he’s almost irrelevant,” Behar gloated on the controversial ABC show.

“Maybe that’s the way to go with him: Just ignore him.

“Every time we talk about him in the media he gets bigger and bigger.”

Despite Behar claiming Carlson’s viewing numbers make him “almost irrelevant,” his show still pulls a far larger audience than “The View.”

According to The Daily Wire, during the week of May 2, Carlson’s show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” was the second most-watched cable news program averaging 3.3 million viewers each night.

For the year 2021, Carlson averaged 3.214 million viewers each night.

Not everybody has cable, but Carlson also has more than five million followers on Twitter.

During that same time period in April, on the other hand, The View had an average of 2.214 million viewers per day.

As Slay News reported earlier this week, Behar also took a few shots at Melania Trump but her insults missed the mark.

Behar was responding after Melania trashed Biden’s “leadership” in a new interview.

“What did she do?” Behar blasted on The View.

“She turned that beautiful Rose Garden into a cemetery.

“That’s one thing she did. What did she do exactly?

“Honestly, I don’t care what she does. I really don’t care. Do you?”

Guest co-host Stephanie Grisham, who worked for Melania in the White House, said: “You know what, she was first and foremost a mother, and she was a good mother and prioritized her son first. I will say that, and her initiatives were important to her.”

“What are the initiatives?” Behar said.

“Online safety, opioids, and um, just helping children with emotional intelligence, et cetera,” Grisham said.

“Again, I know it’s easy to take potshots at her, and trust me, I would like to as well, but I think for this topic, there was bias there.

“But I will also say when Vogue came to us and asked if she would do a shoot, she would only do a shoot if she could be on the cover.”

In the interview with Fox News Melania said:

“I enjoyed living in the White House. I enjoyed taking care of the White House.

“It was my home for a while.”

“And maybe it will be your home again?” Fox News host Pete Hegseth asked.

“Never say never,” Trump said.

“So, being out of D.C. and having that time, what do you make of the state of the country right now?” Hegseth asked.

Melania said: “I think it’s sad to see what’s going on, if you really look deeply into it.

“I think a lot of people are struggling and suffering and what is going on around the world as well.

“So it’s very sad to see and I hope it changes fast.”

Hegseth said: “It’s been in the news, as someone who loves children and has dedicated so much to their betterment, how do you feel when you see a shortage of baby formula and families just struggling to get basic items like that?”

Melania said: “It’s heartbreaking to see that they are struggling and the food is not available for children in the 21st century in the United States of America.”

“Why is it happening?” Hegseth asked.

“Leadership,” she responded.

“Leadership, or lack thereof?” Hegseth asked.

Melania said: “Yeah.”
