NY AG Letitia James Outraged as Judge Tosses 80% of Case against Trump

New York Attorney General Letitia James was left outraged when a judge tossed 80% of her case against President Donald Trump out of court.

James left the courtroom on Monday and refused to speak with reporters as her get-Trump case was dramatically slashed.

According to reporters, Letitia James was too furious to speak to the press.

Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that most of James’s case against Trump fell outside of the statute of limitations and could not proceed.

Reporters said James was defeated as she left the Manhattan courthouse.

The judge’s conclusion came during the opening day of the non-jury trial in a civil fraud case brought by James.

After the Monday ruling, President Trump and his lawyers spoke to the press outside of a New York City courthouse.

Trump and one of his attorneys said the judge conceded that the statute of limitations is in effect on transactions that closed prior to 2014.

Those transactions account for 80% of James’s case against Trump.

Earlier on Monday, Trump blasted the judge as he held up a new report from Palm Beach County.

“Why are we trying a case that the appellate division of New York state has just ruled recently that we won 80% of our case and this judge refuses to acknowledge the ruling, which is plain for all to see,” Trump said.

After the court session ended Monday afternoon, Trump and his lawyers emerged from the courthouse.

President Trump confirmed to the press that Judge Engoron conceded that the statute of limitations is in effect.

Trump’s lawyer explained to reporters:

“Based on the judge’s comments at the end of the trial, it would appear that he is agreeing that all the transactions that closed prior to 2014 are now out of the case.”

Trump added: “Which are about 80% of the case.”

The 45th president then spoke for a few minutes about the ruling.

He blasted James as a “national disgrace” for pursuing her get-Trump case while violent crime and murders soar in New York.

Before the non-jury trial began Monday morning, James appeared very confident that her anti-Trump case would get the result the Democrats are after.

Before entering the courtroom, James told reporters that Trump is a fraudster who is not “above the law.”
