Kansas City Chiefs Star Celebrates Super Bowl Win by Paying Adoption Fee for Every Dog at Shelter

A Kansas City Chiefs player has celebrated his team’s thrilling 2023 Super Bowl win by giving back to his community in a big way.

Derrick Nnadi, a defensive tackle, is paying for the adoption of every dog currently sheltered at the KC Pet Project.

The adoption effort is a partnership with pet food supplier Kiwi Pets.

The KC Pet Project said: “KC WINS!

“We are so excited to announce that KC defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi, and Ziwi Pets are choosing to celebrate the win by paying for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs currently at KC Pet Project!

“We have had an amazing, season-long, partnership with Derrick Nnadi and ZIWI with so many dogs finding their homes, and now all 264 dogs that are available for adoption are sponsored by them until they are adopted.

“ZIWI is also providing swag bags with all dog adoptions.

“This season-long partnership has been sponsored by the Derrick Nnadi Foundation and ZIWI.”

One Facebook user said:

“I just want to see a picture of Nnadi surrounded by all of the dogs that he’s helped to get into their forever homes!

“It would be so cool to invite them all back for one big puppy party!

“What a great guy! Thank you!!!”
