Kayleigh McEnany overruled Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on “Outnumbered” today after AOC made some astounding claims about Hunter Biden’s laptop story being censored by social media.
During the House Oversight Committee hearing, which saw former Twitter executives testify on their decision to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story just days before the 2020 election, AOC attempted to downplay the situation and defend Big Tech.
AOC claimed during the hearing that the laptop story was “half fake” and described the censorship of the story as a “24-hour hiccup.”
McEnany and her co-hosts on Fox News show “Outnumbered” responded to the hearing.
Co-host Emily Compagno reminded McEnany that she had been censored by Twitter over the laptop story.
McEnany said: “That’s right, James Comer said October 10th, 2020, the story publishes and there was a coordinated campaign to suppress the New York Post, one of the five largest newspapers in the United States, including me.
“I was White House press secretary at the time, I shared it on my personal account.
They blocked my personal account and would not unblock it until I took down the story.
“What makes this galling is to think, and I’m so glad that James Comer is asking these questions.
“The FBI, while we are in office, the Trump administration, is having weekly meetings with social media companies.
“Not only that, they reportedly warned of a hack and leak operation against Hunter Biden.
“So imagine that, someone who is in the executive branch working, myself, and the FBI, same federal government, going behind the scenes, potentially coordinating with social media companies to suppress the voice of the American people as embodied in the executive branch.
“It is appalling and good on the GOP for, it’s only January, asking the questions.”

AOC said of the massive scandal:
“Political operatives are weaponizing the use of this committee.
“A whole hearing about a 24-hour hiccup in a right-wing political operation.
“That is why we are here right now.
“It’s an abuse of public resources and an abuse of public time.
“We’re talking about Hunter Biden’s half-fake laptop story?
“This is an embarrassment.
“We could be talking about health care, bringing down the cost of Rx drugs, abortion rights, voting rights, civil rights.
“But instead we’re talking about Hunter Biden’s laptop story.”
