Kayleigh McEnany Warns Democrats: Kamala Harris Will Fail as ‘Done Deal’ SCOTUS Nomination

President Donald Trump’s former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has warned Democrats that Kamala Harris will fail if she’s nominated for the Supreme Court.

McEnany said Joe Biden’s choice for Harris to be his SCOTUS is already a “done deal.”

However, she warned that Biden’s plan will fail because he tasked Vice President Kamala Harris to help get it done.

Biden should have no problem with 51 votes in the Senate but Kayleigh reminded Fox News viewers that so far Harris has failed at everything else she has touched, including the border, voting rights, etc.

And she may do it again.

Dan Bongino said to McEnany: “Vice President Kamala Harris is supposed to be helping.

“You worked in the White House, you were in the room for these conversations.

“Is this a political effort to save her reputation because she has failed at everything else and hope they can change the narrative?”

“For sure. Exactly, Dan,” McEnany said.

“Vice President Mike Pence was involved in a myriad of matters because he did a great job, like on Covid-19, for instance.

“He led the task force.

“And he proved himself to be skillful and adept.

“Kamala Harris, she couldn’t get voting rights done.

“The border is up in flames.

“She’s failed at every task she’s been given so they said let’s give her the one-done deal that we have.

“Or in their mind, they think it’s a done deal.

“50-50 Senate, we’ll get the Supreme Court justice through.

“If anybody knows how to light a sure-fire deal on fire, it’s Kamala Harris.

“You chose the one person who may tank what in your view is something that simply cannot be tanked,” she said.

Some Democrats want Biden to pick Harris for SCOTUS to get her out of the White House so a more popular replacement VP can be found.

From Politico:

More broadly, however implausible, the Harris-for-Supreme Court discussion laid bare how desperate Democrats have become for anything to reset their dismal midterm election outlook.

For some activists, said Jane Kleeb, chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party, “It’s like doomsday every day… Everything is bad — let’s throw everything at the wall to maybe get the base excited.”

Of those activists’ sentiment, she said, “I think it could potentially manifest itself in Kamala, because that’s an easy out for people. But that’s not at the root of it. At the root of it is we’re doing all these good things as Democrats, and yet the voters don’t seem to be on our side.”

Harris is roughly as popular inside the Democratic Party as Biden, with a job approval rating among Democrats exceeding 80 percent, according to a recent CBS News poll.

Yet for all of her appeal, there is an undercurrent of discussion within the party that she is a political liability — an opinion founded in her low approval ratings nationally, questions about her performance as vice president and, most significantly, the implosion of her 2020 presidential campaign — a campaign that unraveled so abruptly and precipitously that it tarnished her reputation as one of the party’s brightest stars.

Since becoming vice president, she has been beset by office turmoil and a portfolio of politically intransigent issues, including voting rights and immigration.

Putting Harris on the Supreme Court would avoid the question of 2024 or 2028 entirely.
