Legendary musician Kid Rock and country music superstar John Rich have scored a historic win over Bud Light after their successful boycott of the brand.
The beermaker has caved and announced a major executive shakeup after the disastrous marketing campaign with transgender influencer Dulan Mulvaney.
Kid Rock started a boycott of the brand.
John Rich and Travis Tritt quickly followed.
The boycott quickly picked up steam and spread across the country.
Bud Light was forced to make an apology but many believed it fell far short.
And now they are shaking up the executive suite to try to stem the fallout from the marketing stunt.
A spokesperson for Anheuser-Busch confirmed that Alissa Heinerscheid, the marketing VP for Bud Light since June 2022 and the one behind the campaign, has “taken a leave of absence.”
She will be replaced by Todd Allen, who was the global marketing VP for Budweiser.
Bud Light waves the white flag, ousting disastrous VP of Mktg, weeks after destroying its own brand by going woke on gender.
Let that be a lesson to other corporations.

The Anheuser-Busch spokesperson said:
“Today, we communicated some next steps with our internal teams and wholesaler partners.
“First, we made it clear that the safety and welfare of our employees and our partners is our top priority.
“Second, Todd Allen is appointed Vice President of Bud Light reporting directly to Benoit Garbe, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer.
“Third, we have made some adjustments to streamline the structure of our marketing function to reduce layers so that our most senior marketers are more closely connected to every aspect of our brand’s activities.
“These steps will help us maintain focus on the things we do best: brewing great beer for all consumers, while always making a positive impact in our communities and on our country.”
