Second Amendment advocate Kyle Rittenhouse has sent a message to President Joe Biden and Speaker Nancy Pelosi to remind the Democrat leaders that his right to defend himself saved his life.
Next week, Pelosi will try a doomed effort to push sweeping gun control bills through Congress.
The Senate will block her radical gun-control measure because she doesn’t even have 50 Democrat votes for it, but she will still try.
“Saving our children can and must be a unifying mission for our nation,” Pelosi said.
“To all those in the Congress who would stand in the way of saving lives: your political survival is insignificant compared to the survival of our children.
“We will not rest until the job is done.”
On Thursday, Biden gave a big speech to promote the Democrats’ anti-Second Amendment agenda.
“We need to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines,” Biden said.
“And if we can’t ban assault weapons, then we should raise the age to purchase them from 18 to 21.
“Strengthen background checks; enact safe storage and red flag laws; repeal the immunity, that protect gun manufacturers from liability; address the mental health crisis, deepening the trauma of gun violence.
“I want to be very clear – this is not about taking away anyone’s guns.
“It is not about vilifying gun owners.
“But, my God, the fact that the majority of the Senate Republicans don’t want any of these proposals even to be debated or come up for a vote I find unconscionable.
“Even before the pandemic, people were already hurting.
“There’s a serious mental health crisis in this country,” the president said.
“The House of Representatives already passed key measures we need, expanding background checks to cover nearly all gun sales.
“It’s time for the Senate to do something. But as we know, in order to … get anything done in the Senate, we need a minimum of 10 Republican senators.
“We can’t fail the American people again.”
Kyle Rittenhouse responded by simply stating:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said:
“Joe Biden wants to ban ‘assault weapons’ and ‘high capacity magazines’ yet Democrats refuse to prosecute violent crimes in Democrat cities all over the country, and refuse to protect your children at school with armed security.
“Same Democrats are protected by armed guards daily.”
