Kyle Rittenhouse has turned the tables and announced he is countersuing Gaige Grosskreutz, one of the armed Black Lives Matter rioters who attacked him.
Grosskreutz pointed a gun in Rittenhouse’s face during the rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020, forcing the then-teen to defend himself with appropriate force.
During Rittenhouse’s trial, Grosskreutz took the stand and admitted he pointed a gun at the armed 17-year-old first before he was shot in the arm.
The prosecutors were stunned by his admission in open court, knowing a not guilty verdict for Rittenhouse would follow, and did not handle the moment well.
Grosskreutz then sued Rittenhouse for emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims.
Rittenhouse is now fighting back, however, and will countersue Grosskreutz.
“Today I have filed a counter lawsuit against Mr. Grosskreutz for assault and emotional distress we look forward to holding him accountable in court,” Rittenhouse said.

Rittenhouse told Fox News earlier, “I guess it came as a shock to why he’s filing a lawsuit because he admitted that he pointed a gun in my face and that he chased me down”

Grosskreutz’s lawsuit says:
“Astonishingly, the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, their supervising officials and police officers, and law enforcement officers from surrounding communities did not treat Defendant Rittenhouse or any of the other armed individuals patrolling the streets as a threat to the safety of themselves or the citizens they were sworn to protect.
“Instead, the law enforcement Defendants deputized these armed individuals, conspired with them, and ratified their actions by letting them patrol the streets, armed with deadly weapons, to mete out justice as they saw fit.
“Defendant Rittenhouse instead shot Mr. Grosskreutz in the bicep, leaving a gaping wound.
“Thankfully, Mr. Grosskreutz did not die that day.
“But he must live with the physical and emotional wounds inflicted by Defendant Rittenhouse and the Defendants who deputized and enabled him.
“The conduct of the Defendants in this case directly caused Gaige Grosskreutz’s injury,” the lawsuit says.
