Lauren Boebert Shreds Biden’s ‘Woke’ Budget by Quoting Democrats’ Words from Proposal

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has torn the Democrats’ multi-trillion-dollar budget to shreds by simply quoting their own “woke” words from the proposal.

During a congressional hearing, Boebert hammered President Joe Biden and Democrats over their priorities in the budget.

On Monday, Biden revealed his staggering $5.8 trillion budget proposal for 2023.

The president claims the radical spending wishlist is “the largest investment in our national security in history.”

Due to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, there have been mounting fears of not only World War 3 but a nuclear fallout.

With the sanctions continuing to stack against President Vladimir Putin, Biden believed the funding was essential to making sure the American military “remains the best-prepared, best-trained, best-equipped military in the world.”

While passionate about the safety and security of the country, Boebert isn’t buying it.

The Colorado congresswoman ripped into the proposal for being nothing more than a lie.

“Biden likes to say, show me your budget, and I’ll tell your values,” she told Congress.

“So let’s see what Democrats really value.

“The word military appears 26 times in this budget, but gender, it’s used 43 times in your budget.

“Equity. Well, that’s used 75 times, and climate is used 187 times in this budget.

“And Americans sure do understand what Democrat priorities are and their values.

“They know that the real cost of these woke policies and so-called values are impacting them in the ad the bill has come due for these bad Democrat policies, proposing to spend trillions of dollars on more woke wants, not needs is absolutely shameful.

“And really, you should be embarrassed to be testifying today and trying to defend this $5.8 trillion budget.”

WATCH:

The list of numbers for words mentioned in the budget is:

  • Military: 26 Times
  • Gender: 43 Times
  • Equity: 75 Times
  • Climate: 187 Times.

Still, when the President unveiled his budget, he stated, “I’m calling for one of the largest investments in our national security in history, with the funds needed to ensure that our military remains the best-prepared, best-trained, best-equipped military in the world.”

Releasing a statement from the White House, Biden added, “My budget also makes the investments needed to reduce costs for families and make progress on my Unity Agenda – including investments to cut the costs of child care and health care; help families pay for other essentials; end cancer as we know it; support our veterans, and get all Americans the mental health services they need.”

While the presentation around the budget has included fewer fumbles from the Biden administration, as shown above, when dissected, the two main parts appear to be gender and climate.

Together, they almost triple the number of times military and equity were mentioned.
